Breastworks is not just an artwork to look at, it’s a social and eating space in Tenna. It places importance on the care and domestic labour that its inhabitants have been performing for generations. Different exchanges and encounters happen at chest level: these include a site-specific oven and a menu prepared with the hotel chef, meetings with local women for the development of a Spiissäckli, food kits for visitors to use in the cooking space, available at the Berghotel Alpenblick and in local farm shops.
