Nature has a wide range of colors in store for us in the form of pigments. The Safiental pupils of the Tenna primary School (1st – 6th grade) dealt with this. The assignment was to depict a cross-section of a meadow using only natural colors that, with a few exceptions, originated from the school’s surroundings. The students used soil, ash, grasses, leaves and various flowers. In addition, they worked in an object that was important to them personally as an archaeological find.
