Safiental is located in 1600m above sea level in the mountain of the Alps in Switzerland. Snow Was Here is a site-specific intervention carrying snow from high altitude to lower altitude in the region. A mass of a snow cube installed in a green field melts and shows the loss of its presence during the exhibition.
