Gerber/Bardill: LOOKING FOR ONESELF WITHIN THE GORGE OF ACLA

Old Aclatobel-Tunnel – GPS: 46.763611, 9.345861

Deep in the old Aclatobel tunnel, disused due to landslides, visitors will find a video installation by the artist duo Gabriela Gerber/Lukas Bardill. Equipped with a helmet visitors can not only inspect the tunnel but also throw a live infrared image of themselves onto the rock face in a (closed circuit) playback loop, giving the impression that they are merging with the tunnel wall.

Installation with camera projection, network camera, beamer, microphone and speakers. 4 x 3 m
Visit at your own risk. Use the provided helmets. Max. 20 visitors. Hours of operation: 09.00 – 18.00 h
